RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION

At Happy Dogs (SIA “Hotdog LV”), we want you and your dog happy with our natural treats. This page covers returns, refunds, and exchanges for purchases made on happydogs.lv.

2. RETURN WINDOW (14 DAYS)

  • Withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods — no reason required.
  • For multi-parcel orders, the 14 days run from receipt of the last item.
  • After notifying withdrawal, send returns within 14 days.

3. RETURN ELIGIBILITY

  • Items must be unused, in the same condition, and in original, unopened, undamaged sealed packaging (where applicable).
  • Proof of purchase (order number / receipt) required.
  • All returns need prior authorization (RA). See “How To Start A Return”.

4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

  • Opened treats/consumables: not returnable once unsealed (health/hygiene), except if faulty or our error.
  • Personalized/custom items (if any).
  • Items damaged by misuse, improper storage, or accidents after delivery.

5. DAMAGED / DEFECTIVE / INCORRECT

Email us within 7–14 days of delivery with your order number, a short description, and clear photos (item, any box damage, label). If validated, we’ll replace, refund, or issue credit. If it’s our fault, we provide a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable standard return shipping.

6. HOW TO START A RETURN

  1. Email: info@happydogs.lv — include order number, items, and reason (withdrawal / unopened return / damaged / incorrect).
  2. Wait for RA: we’ll send your Return Authorization and the correct return address.
  3. Pack securely: use original shipping packaging if possible; include RA and proof of purchase.
  4. Ship trackable: keep proof of postage until processed.

7. RETURN SHIPPING & COSTS

  • Withdrawal / change-of-mind: you pay return shipping (we refund product price + our cheapest standard initial delivery, if paid).
  • Our error (damaged / incorrect / defective): we cover reasonable standard return shipping or provide a prepaid label.

8. REFUNDS — METHOD & TIMING

  • Refunds go to the original payment method.
  • Processed without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you notify withdrawal; we may withhold until we receive the goods or proof of return shipment.
  • We refund the product price and the cost of our least-expensive standard initial delivery; extras (e.g., express) aren’t refunded.

9. EXCHANGES

No direct exchanges. Return eligible items for a refund and place a new order.

10. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

For returns from outside the EU, mark parcels “Returned goods – failed sale” to avoid customs charges. Any duties/taxes we incur due to incorrect return labelling may be deducted from your refund.
