7. COOKIES

We use cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies are used to run the Website (e.g., cart, checkout, security) and do not require consent. All other cookies (e.g., analytics, advertising/personalization) are used only if you provide consent via our cookie banner/preferences.

You can manage or withdraw consent at any time through the cookie banner’s “Preferences” link or your browser settings. Full details (types, purposes, lifetimes, third-party recipients) are listed in our Cookie Policy.

  • Consent scope: applies per device/browser and may expire; we will periodically re-ask for consent.
  • Record of consent: we store your consent status (and timestamp) to demonstrate compliance.
  • Third-country transfers: when applicable (e.g., analytics/ads tools), safeguards are described in Section 9.

8. SHARING & PROCESSORS

We do not sell your data. We share it with trusted providers under data-processing agreements, only as needed:

  • E-commerce platform: Shopify (store hosting, checkout, order management). As a rule, we act as the controller for customer data and Shopify acts as our processor (service-specific exceptions may apply).
  • Payments: Revolut Pay and card processors (PCI-DSS compliant).
  • Shipping: Swotzy; carriers (Omniva, DPD, Latvijas Pasts) for delivery and tracking.
  • Analytics/ads: e.g., Google Analytics; Google/Meta ads (only if relevant cookies are accepted).
  • IT/security: hosting, monitoring, incident response.
  • Advisors & authorities: accountants, auditors, legal, or where required by law.
  • Consent-dependent tools: analytics and advertising partners load only after you opt in via the cookie banner (see Section 7 and the Cookie Policy).

9. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some partners (e.g., Shopify, Google, Meta) may process data outside the EEA. We use safeguards such as European Commission adequacy decisions (including the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified U.S. recipients), Standard Contractual Clauses, and supplementary measures where needed.

Note: on September 3, 2025, the EU General Court upheld the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision; we may rely on it for certified U.S. recipients alongside Standard Contractual Clauses where relevant.

10. DATA RETENTION

  • Orders & invoices: kept as required by Latvian accounting/tax law (generally up to 10 years).
  • Account data: kept while your account is active; deleted on request unless we must retain some records.
  • Marketing consent & preferences: kept until you withdraw consent; we keep opt-out records to honour your choice.
  • Support messages: retained for a reasonable period for follow-up and record-keeping.
  • Technical/analytics: typically shorter periods as set in the Cookie Policy.

11. SECURITY

We apply technical and organizational measures to protect personal data (TLS encryption, access controls, secure hosting, least-privilege access, incident procedures). No method is 100% secure, but we work to reduce risk and respond appropriately to incidents.

12. YOUR GDPR RIGHTS

You can exercise these rights subject to legal limits:

  • Access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restriction and objection (including to direct marketing).
  • Data portability (machine-readable copy).
  • Withdraw consent at any time (does not affect past lawful processing).
